Return of the Blog

We've been absent for a while now, preparing for the move to Shutesbury, doing the move, and getting settled into the new house. We also had Griffin and Jaime's birthdays, a very busy semester for Jaime, and my work has been busy too, with three large reports due in June. Evie has been growing rapidly of course, and is now walking full time.

The pictures will help a little getting a sense of where we are now. The first picture is of Evie in the leaves, of which there were a LOT when the snow melted. Second is a picture of Evie standing, getting ready to walk. She was very pleased with herself standing, and then she took her time before she was ready to take steps. The third and fourth pictures are of the house, taken this week, to show what the foliage is like: the front, and the side, down by Athena's deck. The fifth picture is of Evie on the play structure in the back, and the sixth is her on the edge of the woods in the front.

The new house is so nice for us all. It has a huge yard, with lots of space to play, many big boulders to climb on, many large gorgeous trees, and lots of room inside as well.
